Pasta alla zozzona is known for being the kitchen sink of pasta. It consists of two classic pasta styles into one. Those of which are carbonara and pasta all’amatriciana with the addition of spicy italian sausage. However, of course I had to add my own twist by incorporating my favorite sauce, vodka sauce (which my apologies, is not very Italian). I also chose to use fresh tomatoes. Tomato season is still producing in the midwest, as we haven’t had many cold days yet so I am taking full advantage of it.
