Happy Weekend! It’s the home stretch with less than a week away from the big day. I had this plan where I would post a category at a time. But I threw that idea out the window the second I realized that I couldn’t eat thanksgiving sides for dinner for a whole week straight. And I assume some of us aren’t just here for the sides, although they are my favorite part of the holiday season!
This newsletter includes cranberry bacon jam brie bites with 2 variations in preparation along with a delectable spiced chai espresso martini and homemade spiced chai syrup. YUM.

Spiced Chai Espresso Martini
I’ve included 2 ways to prepare this cocktail, both are delicious!
Ingredients for 1 Cocktail (Option 1)
1 Oz. Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur
1.5 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Espresso or Cold Brew Concentrate
1 oz. Chai Syrup
2 Dashes Chocolate Bitters
1 Dash Orange Bitters
Ingredients for 1 Cocktail (Option 2)
1 oz. Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
1.5 oz. Tequila Reposado
1 oz. Espresso or Cold Brew Concentrate
1 oz. Chai Syrup
2 Dashes Chocolate Bitters
1 Dash Orange Bitters
How to make it: Add Ice to a shaker, add all ingredients. Vigorously shake for 30 seconds until shaker tin is almost too cold to touch (this helps make the dreamy foam that we all know and love). Strain into a coupe. Garnish with 3 coffee beans and a star anise.
*you can prepare a large quantity of espresso the night before and place it in the fridge until you are ready to use! Or buy a container of cold brew concentrate -that works just as well if you don’t have access to fresh espresso!*
